"If you're going to compete with these lock-out laws, sometimes you need to physically lock people up."

Proving once again that they know their clientele almost too well, local gay bar Stonewall has installed a high-security prison on level one, complete with paid actors posing as sexually frustrated convicted criminals.

"The cage had a good run", declared Stonewall manager Greg Smythe. "It gave a lot of young, slutty show ponies a place to be themselves. But there comes a point where you need to cater to a more hardcore audience (and one with fatter pockets.)"

"If you're going to compete with these lock-out laws, sometimes you need to physically lock people up."

Loyal patron and lover of all things kink, Steve, told The Pink Verandah the renovation has his tick of approval.

"I think it's just fabulous. Plus as a member of their 'Slippery Soap Loyalty Club', when I buy nine naked and demeaning hose-downs, I get my tenth one free!"
